For any researchers and trainees who are interested in learning about how systems science approaches can advance understanding of ways to combat childhood obesity.

JHGCCO will be hosting the Center's First Annual Scientific Symposium on April 9, 2013. The symposium theme, “Innovations in Childhood Obesity Prevention: Systems Thinking and Systems Change,” will focus on ways that innovative systems science approaches can advance the understanding of causal pathways and potential interventions to address childhood obesity worldwide.The keynote speakers and scientific sessions will highlight external peers who are internationally recognized leaders in the field, as well as the exciting progress made by the Center researchers.
