Ellen was a Research Assistant with the B’more Healthy Community for Kids (BHCK) project. BHCK is a multilevel, multicomponent childhood obesity prevention trial, which aims to improve the access, demand, and consumption of healthier food in low-income neighborhoods in Baltimore city.
Ellen’s work was expanded beyond BHCK to other projects focusing on factors that contribute to the current food environment in inner city Baltimore. Ellen is interested in preventative health, with an emphasis on the overlap between human psychology and physiology.
