Gabby received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics, Nutrition and Food Sciences with a minor in Spanish from the University of Vermont. She is currently studying human nutrition on the Registered Dietitian track in the Department of International Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
During Gabby’s undergraduate career, she worked with elementary school-aged youth in the afterschool setting to promote nutrition and physical activity. Gabby is primarily interested in promoting healthy food access, healthy behavior changes among youth, and creating sustainable food environments to foster these changes. These interests brought Gabby to the Global Obesity Prevention Center's (GOPC) B’More Healthy Communities for Kids (BHCK) project where she assisted in data entry and collection.
