Leila Haidari received her BS in Biological Sciences and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University and an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health. She has worked with the GOPC's HERMES Team since 2011 with a focus on modeling vaccine supply chains in low- and middle-income countries. Her work has included building in-country capacity for supply chain modeling among decision makers and stakeholders.
As the Public Health Applications Manager at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC), she contributes to the development of public health modeling tools for decision support, including geospatial analysis for program planning, simulation modeling for supply chain logistics, and agent-based modeling for infectious disease control.
